A Race Against Time...



Published and developed by Takusan Works Shuttle Rush is a hectic action platformer where you must race against the clock to finish each stage within a very strict time limit or die trying. Is this unique formula a recipe for disaster or does it actually work well? Keep reading our review to find out!

Time limits in platforming titles is nothing new, but Shuttle Rush takes this concept to an extreme new level as some stages you'll have mere seconds on the clock! There are ways to increase your time by collecting coins and using oxygen machines, but sometimes the quickest route isn't always the best route as you'll quickly find yourself without any time.

The maze like stages are oftentimes very complex and figuring out which path to take can be a serious chore. The controls in Shuttle Rush are quite good and the option to use the Wii Classic Controller Pro is welcome! The graphics are a little on the bland side, however the catchy soundtrack more than makes up for it!



Bottom-Line:

With solid gameplay, flawless controls, the option to use the Wii Classic Controller Pro, and a great soundtrack Shuttle Rush is a game that has its moments and can be quite fun at times, however lackluster graphics and "more importantly" the unnecessarily strict time limit in certain stages really hampers this game so we can't "highly" recommend this game, but it still can provide a reasonable amount of entertainment!
