A few weeks ago many WiiU owners got quite the scare when it was reported that Watch Dogs was cancelled for WiiU.; Ubisoft quickly released a statement saying that it was all a mix up and that the game is still headed to the console. Needless to say a massive sigh of relief was let out through the WiiU community.
Unfortunately it does not end there though as now we are getting reports that the WiiU version of the game has been delayed and WiiU gamers will have to wait even longer to get their hands on the title. During an Investors Call yesterday Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot explained.....
So far the title has been confirmed to arrive on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One sometime during the spring season. WiiU gamers will have to wait until sometime during the second half of the year.

"We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on WiiU, to focus the team's resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft,"

Sounds like the reason it's being delayed is because they're adding extra features to it. :-)
