It sounds familiar, but I don't know much besides the fact that it is some sort of video game console.

This is OUYA

Its an android based system and its main appeal is for homebrewing and emulations both which can't be discussed here.

There are some good games released by SEGA and Square Enix on the console, but for the most part Tasuki is right on the money with his analogy of the console's appeal. Sad

I don't like how one of the games they showed was the original SMB... That can't be legal, this system has a good idea, but today's "gamers" seem to think Nintendo is 3rd party or dead... So they emulate those titles on their iTHiNG and now OUYA

It's despicable, but there are quite a few legit games as well, which if I were to purchase one I'd only download the legit games. Emulators and copied games with sprite changes are just wrong.

I hope its gets more support. It looks like a great console. If I had the money I probably would order one.

Opinions on the console seem to be varied so far. I haven't tried it personally, but I've seen some reviews of rather obscure, unique indie games. While those could certainly work on virtually any other system, it's nice to see a smaller console getting exclusives in some capacity I suppose, even if they aren't exactly system-sellers.
