Sonic Chronicles 2?

I was just wondering if this is ever coming out? Sonic Chronicles ended with eggman taking over the world and with a "the end?" at the end. What do you think?

Nice spoiler, mate. Can't blame you though, this was well publicized.

Anyway, it doesn't look like there will be a sequel. I don't think the game met with ideal sales and I'm not sure Bioware would be interested in doing it again. I hope I'm wrong, though. That's especially disheartening since it's now an eternal cliffhanger ending (or just a really cheap one).
