Square Enix released details on the upcoming Bravely Default. There is a town called Norende which is apparently in ruins. It is up to the player to restore this town using the Nintendo 3DS StreetPass and SpotPass features.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy StreetPass & SpotPass Feature Bravely_Default

As the town population increases, so will the recovery process. A demo of Bravely Default will be available at this years Tokyo Game Show and will support StreetPass. Attendees are recommended to download the demo when attending TGS as players will be able to SpotPass exchanges with the development team. The game is currently set to release on October 11th in Japan.

NINTENBRO
Hmmm... Definitely interesting. I'm not sure if this will be traveling westward anytime soon, because the social features seem to have been designed for the purpose of functioning more properly in an area with a condensed population which is the majority of Japan. If this ever does arrive in the States, I doubt it would have all the same exact features. If it did in fact possess those features, they most likely wouldn't function the way they were intended to. Unless you live in a crowded city somewhere like New York, you probably won't be able to fully experience everything the game has to offer.
